Vanilla-coconut cake and IB marks
A very good recipe for a simple vanilla cake I made with Connie a couple of days ago. I decided to make my own frosting for the filling and topped it off with some unsweetened coconut shavings! The cake itself was not too sweet but the frosting added that small touch. Today, a small chocolate brownie cake emerged from the oven at my cousins' house but I forgot to take a picture of it! Regardless, it was very pretty (and delicious). The only thing I regretted afterwards was perhaps scrubbing the dishes after... sticky, sticky! In other news, IB marks are about to be posted (well, in a few hours) and I'm very nervous! Hopefully all goes well and the internet doesn't break! Diploma marks are supposed to be coming in the mail very soon, too... ahhh!!
